//For me, photography is a just different avenue and way explore light. When I look at a potential motif, I am searching for the absolute essence of the subject, only. For a painter, this essence is often but not always carried further with layers of complexity in both surface and emotion. With photography, I aim to retain just the essence, be it sad, happy, or everything in between.//
